Why the name Medolo

Denis JeanteurAbout us

rablaisThe project has started in Tours, in the university François Rabelais. François Rabelais was a major French renaissance writer, but also a doctor, a Greek scholar, a free-thinker.. a humanist.

One of his famous book ‘gargentua‘, 1535, is more didactic and in the introduction Rabelais invite us to decode his writings literately saying “break the bone and suck the nourishing marrow”. I wanted to capture this image. Neither  ‘marrow’ not ‘moelle’ are very nice word but I found that their Esperanto counterpart was nice and well sounding word (and the domain in org, net were free). Medolo is clause to the latin medula.
